The Journey

As a child, I was mesmerized by nature and I would imagine outdoor spaces. In 1985, I started to transform Mom and Dad’s backyard in Frankfort, IL. When I was 14, a neighbor discovered me finishing up the project. The next day, that neighbor hired me. I pulled my red wagon up the street to their house – it was full of tools, a sketch pad, and dreams.

Later, I studied Botany and Environmental Biology in graduate school. Then, in the winter season, I taught Landscape Design at a public college.

It is a privilege to create landscapes that awaken your senses, inspire your imagination and expand your consciousness of outdoor space.

I look forward to meeting you and enhancing the most important place in the world… your home.

Landscaping is a skill in which the artist expresses a meaningful idea in tangible form. Inspired by nature, it is an interpretation rather than a copy. I discover the intrinsic beauty of your landscape scene to create a remarkable composition.

Thank you for visiting!
